OSHAssociation Members Emerged at Dubai Intersec Expo 2020, Strategized best ways to improve Safety and Security in the new decade

Global safety and security Industries converged at Intersec 2020 held at World Trade Centre Dubai UAE, which featured the world’s leading security, safety, and fire protection trade show.

The expo was declared open by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, of the United Arab Emirates, supported by the Dubai Police, Dubai Police Academy, Dubai Civil Defence, SIRA, Dubai Municipality and many other major stakeholders in the safety and security sectors.

 

The expo of over 1, 500 exhibitors from 56 countries was a great platform for international members of OSHAssociation to engage in interactive discussions, there were experiences in class case study insights, with new safety and security solutions as well as network with manufacturers, decision makers and innovators. Best ways to improve safety and security of lives and properties in the new decade were strategized.

The Intersec Fire Conference 2020 theme “Integrating Fire Engineering with the Prevention, Protection and Suppression of Fire” with ten industry leading confirmed speakers including Senior Fire Service Advisor, Terry Johnson, Nabeel Ali, Chief Fire & Safety Compliance Officer at ENOC and Sid Duffie, Head of Fire Safety at Nawah Energy. The conference also focused on advanced fire safety technologies, evolving regulatory requirements, and standards.

With a strong focus on security and safety in communities and industries, OSHAssociation had set up a strategic partnership with major safety and security equipment manufactures to help in proffering solutions and proactively monitoring and mitigating the risk among other critical challenges. In line with the partnership, selected Fellows of OSHAssociation from various countries visited one of the leading Fire Safety Equipment Manufacturers in Dubai UAE,  SFFECO Global Fire Equipment Manufacturer, were received by the Regional Director Africa, Mr. Kumar who assured the delegation of their partnership with OSHAssociation to ensure proactive and effective safety compliance in Africa with their quality products.

With new government regulations around life safety and fire protection along with large-scale infrastructure investment, the market is expected to witness solid growth at a CAGR of 9.0% during the forecast period.

With increasing demands from businesses at multiple locations to centralize their operations with the intention of increasing safety, security, protecting people and assets, and solving security issues, it is in the right direction for OSHAssociation to partner and work with small and big enterprises to ensure safety at all level in every sector and communities.
