Abstract: Occupational safety and health is an to caring the safety, health and wellbeing of people occupied in work. The aim of the study is to study the occupational health and safety of the factory employs and assessment of management practices towards health and safety of employee in lather shoe factory. Study was conducted at shoe factory of Gujrat (Pakistan). . Most of the workers are of opinion that there is no suitable resting area where they can make themselves feel comfortable. Water filter is out of order which can cause biological contamination. Hose keeping condition of area is also miserable health and safety of workers must be considered at the same level with quality of products. They must update their every system whether it is fire evacuation strategy or fire alarm activation etcIn this study, both primary and secondary data is used Primary data collected through observation/walk through survey and structured questionnaire by 655 employees of the industry. There is some detail about the occupational health and safety and service industry. The history and present status of the company is explained. It is concluded that workers are satisfied with working conditions of canteens and also with food stuff provided thereof.
